Merry Christmas Batch ’75 and Friends! It is another year to be thankful for the birth of the Son of God. We now finally, are saved and are looking forward to an eternal life after this mortal existence and experiencing the adventure of life on earth as humans created in His likeness and image. All of these are wrapped in a bundle made possible by the Creator and the Savior. The Birth of Christ has made possible a redemption through the Cross of Calvary. Our Lord whose Birth we celebrate, finished the job of saving us all from eternal death. We are now the heirs to the Kingdom, as the Bible says. Our mansions are prepared by Christ who went ahead to prepare them for us for His sake.

Our friendships as classmates extended far beyond high school and college days. We have lived different lives and took different paths. Nevertheless, we do not forget. Our hearts yearn for home and the friends we once had and enjoyed our youth with. E tamu mengalingwan king milabas.

In this age of real time information technology, we have the privilege of getting in touch and updating each other in the most convenient ways- cell phones, e-mails, websites.
We have come up with this site, our very own www.gnc75.com. This will bring us closer even when we are miles apart.
Now, we can update each other on what's going on with us-career, families, and interests, even our businesses. This will be our little space in the World Wide Web of the Internet. This is our new tambayan where we can hangout, and be with friends from younger years.
There is still a lot of work and
research to be done, but as we all know, nothing is impossible. Everybody is encouraged to take part in populating OUR site. Pictures (old and new, of course), articles, letters, or anything that is of interest to you are welcome. Let others know about our site too. Invite friends to become members! The more we are, the merrier.
WE ARE GRATEFUL TO OUR GENEROUS SPONSORS FOR THEIR DONATIONS WITHOUT WHOM OUR SITE WILL NOT CONTINUE TO EXIST. CLICK FOR OUR ACCOUNTING REPORT

First and foremost, I hope and pray that you, your family are doing alright coping with the recent calamity in the PI. My prayers are with the rest of the countrymen. Over here in Michigan, prayers, masses and donations are being offered on behalf of the victims. We also have relatives affected by the typhoons. The Filipino damayan spirit is alive and well as even in this tight economic times people are still pinching in whatever they can.

Ola Mabanta-de la Fuente invited friends, family and classmates for her Golden Birthday at Holiday Inn on August 8, 2009. It was at 6:00 pm at the Acacia-Mahogany Function Rooms at Holiday Inn Clark. Attire was formal.
It was a successful and fun party she had. Here is her account.
"Oh boy what a birthday party ! Melasing ko keng tula at saya ! Of course there were friends who supported me. The party started with a big bang a dance number from me and Marco ! Marco carrying one single rose with all the chreography , habol habol nya ako , snob and then boogie , cross step and shuffle. Complete with fog lights before the dance to the music of 'love you today than yesterday '. THAT DANCE was an ice breaker and the guests had loosen up. i can see Nene my sister in law and some relatives laugh their hearts out when they saw Marco doing the boogie etc.
Then there was this avp i made specially for the event ' entitled pretty woman" from memories of childhood until 5o years old ! a song was rendered by cute Bjao a son of my friend 'fly me to the moon ' ! followed by Marina's song 'Iingatan ka .' There were 50 well wishers who made their short but meaningful speeches. Gosh I was in near tears when they spoke only good words for me (of course ).
My mommy greeted me but with a word welcome hahaha, nag-practice pa naman kami ng sasabihin nalimutan nya !
The most applauded was my speech i guess where i went stammering with my signature ala german style talking ! I could not wear my eyeglasses kaya i read my speech , i said page 2 AND page 3 complete with period and everything. There was a tear jerker also when i saw mommy's eyes, staring at me with pride and joy. And i thank the Lord that she s still around to witness my 5oth bday! Thanks to a lot of people , friend, etc. most especially Marco who is my major sponsor by the way ! hahaha There were 248 guest total. I realized the people i have touched (naks ). Also the most if not the "mostest" special number was the fashion show conceptualized by Tina Pineda my events coordinator, 12 women of substance paraded dressed to the nines with their matching jewelries ( of course my creations ). Women who were my friends, valued clients, and some relatives. Line dancing, ballroom dancing, cake ceremony. I was so happy that we slept at 4 am in the morning.I realized that neither time nor distance made a difference in building a relationship called friendship.
Food was superb also. My goodness I could go on and on and on, but right now i am still in euphoria, i havent been sleeping for the last 2 days na !
Some say they had an impromptu entertainment from me ! hahaha we miss you guys from the USA- my friends, but surely you made my birthday really great i felt so special that night ! By the way if you have time please log in the face book ! there s an article written by norman songco also my friend from guagua, thanks for that beautiful life GOd gave me ! regards and i misss you all mwah!"

November 26 HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEKEND......
At Kristina's 7th Birthday
November 14, 2009- This picture was taken last Saturday at the birthday of Rosita Navarro's youngest daughter, Kristina. Even adults can let the kids inside them show during such kiddie parties:>
There were only few of us who attended Kristina's Bday. Beth Campbell had to go to a baptism with her dad; Seng was sick.
We enjoyed being together one more time and we went home happy because Pacquiao won...and so did Benny who won the $60 pool (12th round).
Everytime we meet with our batchmates it is always considered very special
We always start with..."When is our next meeting?"
And I would say, "Benny, Jun and spouses, etc. you spent almost every Saturday with me these last 4 weekends - and I know you consider yourselves lucky but don't expect too much to see me after today, ok?"....but then, we'll get together again and again and again.
The Meeting at Benny's House
Nov. 7, 2009 - Present were Romeo Pelagio, Beth and Jaime Campbell, Marina and Jun Inlong, Ola. Jobeth, of course, Seng, Rosita and Kristina, her daughter, at Benny and Carina's house. This was to welcome Ola and celebrate Benny's birthday.
June 18, 2009- Here is a request from Ola to give her a number of friends and classmates who are planning to attend our 2010 reunion in the Philippines: "I JUST CAME FROM FIESTA LUNCH TODAY KAY NINA CAPATI. WE HAD A SMALL MEETING WITH AUDIE, LARRY, CHARITO , BONG, GRACE, ETC. WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY ARE SURE SA MGA classmates natin? Please enumerate them? We are planning to have dinner 2 days before the GNC day itself. Tapos a weekday sa Subic Overnight? so sabi ni Audie it would be nice to know how many are sure to com, so we can also make preparations on booking and pasyal... We are offering accommodations in our respective houses or if you want sa kings royal where you stayed?" (Ola de la Fuente)
So Please send us your response within the next few weeks to give them an update to help with their preparations and advance reservations:
